Every Top 5 list is editorially curated by our New Zealand team using a consistent framework: public customer reviews and feedback, consistency of service quality, range of services offered, local experience and reputation, and professional standards. We don't host our own reviews — rankings reflect real-world reputation and are reviewed periodically.
No. The organic Top 5 cannot be bought. Businesses can pay for a single, clearly labelled Featured placement that appears above the Top 5, but it never influences or replaces the editorial rankings.
Businesses are added to the editorial Top 5 on merit through our research — you can't buy your way in. If you'd like extra visibility, you can apply for a Featured placement on the relevant category and city pages via our Get Featured page.
